Centerra Co-Op is a member-owned agricultural cooperative serving farmers, businesses, homeowners and communities throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. Because we’re owned by the people we serve, our focus is simple: providing the products, services, expertise and support our customers need to succeed.
Our roots are in agriculture, and it remains at the heart of what we do. From agronomy, feed and grain to propane, liquid fuels and home heating, Centerra delivers dependable solutions that help keep farms, businesses and homes running smoothly.
Our Country Stores extend that commitment from the field to the backyard and barnyard, with livestock, equine and pet feed and supplies, lawn and garden products, Sommer’s Wild Bird Feed and much more.
But Centerra is more than the products we sell or the services we provide. We’re local people serving local communities, building relationships and working alongside our members and customers for the long haul.

OUR STORY
Centerra Co-Op’s roots stretch back to the 1930s, when local cooperatives began serving farmers and rural communities throughout northeast and north central Ohio. Built on the belief that people could accomplish more by working together, these early organizations gave farmers access to the products, services and resources they needed to operate successfully and remain competitive.
As agriculture and the communities we serve evolved, so did our cooperatives. Through decades of growth, partnerships and consolidation, Western Reserve Farm Cooperative and Town & Country Co-Op emerged, expanding their reach across Ohio and into western Pennsylvania. Along the way, their offerings grew beyond agronomy, feed and grain to include propane and petroleum, precision agriculture, retail stores and other services for agricultural, commercial and residential customers.
In March 2017, Western Reserve Farm Cooperative and Town & Country Co-Op joined together to become Centerra Co-Op. The merger brought together generations of cooperative experience, strong local relationships and shared resources under one name—with a continued commitment to serving our members, customers and communities.
Since then, Centerra has continued to grow and invest in the future. We’ve expanded our presence in Ohio and Pennsylvania, increased grain storage and handling capabilities, strengthened our agronomy and feed operations, grown our propane service area and invested in facilities, technology and equipment across our footprint.
Today, Centerra serves thousands of members and customers from more than 30 locations throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. While a lot has changed since our earliest cooperative roots, the idea behind Centerra hasn’t:
working together to create greater opportunities for the people and communities we serve.
